Our menu features dishes inspired by delicious cuisines, from France through Portugal and Spain along the beautiful shores of the Mediterranean, to the rich Arabic flavors of Turkey and Lebanon. We follow the seasons and so our menu is always changing with each season.
We use seasonal vegetables and herbs in our dishes. We consider these at least as important as the meat or fish we combine them with. This helps us ensure that you will find a perfect mix of flavours and textures on your plate. The same naturally applies to our vegetarian offerings. Our staff can advise you which wines best suit your taste and your chosen dishes. Our wine list always offers a wide choice, including, no doubt, some pleasant surprises.
De Kruidenier is located on the inner harbour, better known as 'De Kom', in Weesp. There we welcome you in a personal, informal atmosphere. In the summer months, we also like to invite you to our attractive terrace. Here, under a canopy of stately plane trees, you can enjoy the view over our beautiful city and the boats passing by.
By the way, it is a coincidence that chef Nesty Honigh has settled in this idyllic spot. Initially, he and his partner Willemijn had come to Weesp in 2018 in search of a new home. But, when Nesty discovered this unique spot, it was love at first sight. So not a new house but a new and vibrant restaurant. It marks the passion with which Nesty runs De Kruidenier and with which he and his kitchen staff cook.
